Yeah it is a lot of fun! Awesome to actually have power and kick it. I took my dad out and his big complaint when we went over the passes in Colorado was that the truck needed a little more power. This time he was shocked. Lol
What an outstanding build! I started last night and just finished. Great collection of cars too. I'm in the same boat. I left a pretty good career that I hated and I am going back to school and starting fresh. It's hard to leave the money but I know it will pay off in the end. Good luck!

Wanted to get out of the house and go for a drive so I left the 54 degree desertish Moab valley and went up to Warner Lake, which is about 9200ft. Left the house way too late at about 3:45pm so the sun was going down and it started snowing so I didn't really get any great pics.

Auto locker + snow + boost = ridiculous fun!
Well as mild mannered as the auto locker is on the street in heavy snow/slick conditions it is an on off switch. If I am in a corner and roll into boost the truck is going sideways with no hesitation. obviously I was throwing it into corners and leaning on the throttle! It is possible to drive safely but in icy wintery conditions I am not going to give the keys to grandma. Lol. Just something to think about for those of you considering an auto locker. This was without the center diff locked, with center diff locked the auto lockers basically acts like a spool. your mileage may very.

I had reported that as well with the Aussie locker in mine. I do not like it in the snow or ice for that very reason.

All very true. I've driven mine (albeit no SC or TC) enough in the snow/ice never been an issue. For someone that hasn't I could see them getting in trouble easily.

1st time - Starter in my SC'd FJ55, ended up being towed off trail and hauling the truck to Slee.
2nd time - Only 1FZ bad water pump I have heard of in my LX, replaced water pump, rad, and fan clutch didn't ruin vacation but took a chunk out
3rd time - Meizere super duper high performance A/W Intercooler pump locks up.
I love Moab but it is certainly a cursed place for me. Hell most guys are running $40 plastic aquarium pumps for their A/W intercooler. I spent $320 on an all metal, stainless steel shaft, ceramic bearings pump, because I never wanted to have issues. Less than a year later it is locked up solid. Not the end of the world since the meth injection still works but damn, I just like s*** that works. /rant.

Yeah I suppose, but these are not wheeling breaks they are just complete flukes that could have happened anywhere and it would have been nice if they happened close to my garage. lol.
