Hi All
Search but didn't find a reference.

Was looking for a reliable source for seat bottom foam for the LX 450's I just ordered shane's leather and want to replace my driver's side.

Anyone know where to get these from. I'll try the dealer local but was wondering if there are better sources

Cheers,

John

Thanks!

Interesting site. I wonder if they have the rhinestone mugs and tee's I saw the last time I was at the stealership :D

These for LX. I've only had them for three freaking years now :flipoff2:

I tipped twice with Shane' deal

also, Sewell Lexus in Dallas, TX presumably gives a discount to members of the Club Lexus Forum (much like CDan/beno/murf) - I haven't signed up yet, but that's the chatter over there - soon to find out . . .

Sewell has good ptices. I've used them several times

Are these cushions specifically for the LX, I have heard they are different for the landcruiser vs the lexus. If so, does that mean we can order them from Toyota? They look...expensive!

Whats interesting is if that part number is the lexus foam, it was shipped to American Toyota.

I believe at the time CDAN could get Lexus parts. That rule has since changed.

Correct. They were recently taken out of our procurement lines.

:frown:

Though I'd drop a line to CDan..... he's been known to work parts magic before so.....

I can't touch LX parts anymore.

Nor can I.

When the LX450 was added into the North American Parts system it aparently was tagged as a Land Cruiser and many Lexus-specific parts (although not cataloged on the Toyota side) were coded as Land Cruiser so the part numbers were orderable on the Toyota side of the fence. If you had the number you could order it and get it. That went on for many years until Somebody at Toyota woke up and "fixed" it.

Presumably some Lexus dealer(s) somewhere figured it out and complained about it. Wild speculation on my part.
