My cruiser has been on goodyear silent armor 265/75r16 for 10 years. So those tires are 10 years old and i need to replace them this year.

The silent armor tire appears to have been discontinued.

I don't really wheel this thing off-road. It's not my sport. I haven't taken it to Moab. It's not going to dig in mud much. It sees the occasional dirt road. Snow rating is a must.

Michelin LTX AT2, I run these on my Superduties. 60k mile treadwear warranty, M+S rating, less aggressive for better road manners and noise.

For something slightly more aggressive with a good warranty (also 60k miles), and 3-peak rated, General Grabber ATX.

I currently own and use both of these tires across different vehicles.

I have 8 yr old cooper at3's which I will probably be replacing this year and my choice will probably be bridgestone d697's to replace them. My driving is mostly on road these days as well.

They have changed the silent armor to the Goodyear At Adventure. You will not find a more quiet at tire. Also still has the 3 speak mountain snow flake rating.
Mileage is phenomenal. Noise is zero. Traction is great. Kevlar layer.

Cooper AT3’s here; quiet, round and smooth on the road. They’ve been fine off piste as well, I’d definitely buy them again.

Cooper AT3's and Nokian Outpost AT's are both quiet, but the the Nokian is superior in East coast winter weather, IMO.
I've run Nokians for 20 years and Coopers for about 10. The new Outpost design seems to hold up to summer heat better than the old Rotiiva AT.

Had the Coopers on my old 2nd Gen Tundra. Currently have them on my '95 Taco. Running Nokian Rotiiva on the 100 and Outposts on the Disco 2 and 60.

All modern ATs from a reputable brand are quiet and smooth. Even some MTs are becoming daily doable. Hybrids are right there, too.

It’s the vintage 80 that’s the noise generator. 🤩

It comes down to personal preference like looks, availability and pricing. Have fun!

very interesting. Didn’t know that. Was a big fan of the Silent Armor.

I have found my Falken Wildpeak AT/3s are quiet. At least to me. Size for mine is 33 12.5 15.
Strongly agree with this. Terrific tire both on and off road. I used these on 2 vehicles when I couldn‘t get silent armor. I would use these on my 80 if wasn’t on an MT. I may switch when these MT’s are done…

Hard to argue with any of this…

I’ve used Nitto Grappler G2, Falken Wildpeaks, Toyo Open Country and BF KO2s. They all start out quiet when new but will begin to hum more. Grapplers and Open Country hum right from get go. Now with 20k+ miles on the KO2s they are by far the quietest of the bunch for me.

These tires come standard on the Toyota Tacoma and you will find and overwhelming dissenting opinion of them on Tacomaworld and other forums. I had them and they lasted about 25k. Hard pass.

Not the same Tires. Original equipment tires are not the same as what you get from a actual Goodyear dealer.. well they can be if you get the OE specific tire.

My personal set of the at adventures have 50k on them and are still dead silent with 6/32nds left. I’ll purchase another set no questions asked.

Have these on my cruiser (31x10.5 15). I don't notice any road noise, comfortable and capable off road/in snow

Have these on our Tundra. I second all of the above ^

Hate to add to the Confusion, but loving the Yoko Geolander ATs.
I have heard some Complain of them being too Soft
They were Cheapest at Wal*Mart with Free Shipping - $200 each.

**FWIW - 70 Series Cruisers have Yoko Geos From Factory

I run the OEM AT2's on my Tundra. Love them. Always plenty for sale on FBM as well as folks remove them with ZERO miles in favor of larger wheel/tire combos.
