Found this 45 through a friend of mine in Maryland last year. he had sent me the pictures but i've been too busy to get serious till now. Drove down across the Mason-Dixon line with my grandson Sunday to see it and was really impressed. It's a 67 with very little rust. the underside of the body appears to have been coated at one time, which is starting to peel off to reveal a rather nice showing of sheetmetal! One smell rust through hole in the driver rocker is all i could see. Complete and unmolested under the hood. Comes with the complete removable hardtop and a real nice set of original style split bench seats. Three on the tree and transfer case shifters are on the dashboard. Still has the original drop down spare tire carrier under the bed!
Plan for now is to get it ready be inspected and drivable withoput doing any body or paint work. Full tuneup with hoses and belt, a set of tires, complete brake job, and fixing a fuel leak at the carburetor sight glass. May need some exhaust work, too- the exhaust pipe flange is connected to the manifold with one bolt and one pair old rusty vise grips! The wife of the prevous owner (deceased) told the guy I'm buyint from that they took it all the way to Brazil twice. there are border stickers from Mexico from two different years on the windows. Check out the pictures!
