Aha! Confirmation! Looks like I won't have to eat my hat after all. I've been sweating that for two days now.

Jonathan's reply to your post was sarcastic. Of course it's David's 40.

I know Johnny. It was all in fun. Full discression: I wasn't even wearing a hat.

It's not just you. And it's no disrepect to Dave's 40 or Jonathan's 80 from last year. Both of them have fantastic Cruisers. Every year up untill last year had Logan's 80 on the shirts and it's not like the truck is not available for new pics to be taken. For an event to be held in his honor, it deserves to be on more than the sticker and namesake IMHO. I love this design of the shirt. I have a ton of respect for those that have the skills and ability to do design work. I was not blessed with that ability. Personally, I think it would have made a killer Relic Run 2018 shirt.

So with that said I'd like to offer a suggestion how about how to make everyone happy. How about we come up with a design and use it on the sleeve. That way we can still have him on the shirt. I'm not sure when it was decided to use his truck on anniversary years but we could still do that as well. Maybe use a logo like this...small, simple yet means a lot.

Sorry Al, but I swiped your picture since I wasn't home to grab one of mine.

It wasn't on every year, it was every other year have Logan's truck on it. First one had Logan's rig and Ramon's 40, second was Brian's 55, Third was my rig and Logans, 4th was Johnny's rig, 5th was Logan's, last year was Mr. Jones' 80. So this would be the first time that logan wasn't on it every other year like originally planned but those who planned the show the first 5 years of the event are no longer involved in it. New people take over and the event evolves. Natural thing that happens and change in leadership and ideas is always good to keep the event fresh.

Same thing with the stickers you posted. It was originally just supposed to change color every year, modeled mostly after the GSMTR ones that everyone in the SE had on their rigs for years. Same design different colors. Same as above though new people take over and the show evolves and again nothing wrong with that at all, the show continues to grow and change each year with new ideas and people stepping up to help, its great.

Everyone involved has done a wonderful job making this event grow and get better each year.

***Important announcement regarding parking***
As those of you who attended Relic Run know, the center grass area at Group Camp has been closed. According to the USFS, "The central grassy area is closed. We are trying to get it rehabbed after damage by other groups.". We have been told that it was "other groups" who caused the damage. The USFS has not been specific as to who caused the damage, citing "other groups".

I've spent the last three weeks talking USFS, Donald, Terry, and the ranger Michael, trying to get them to make an exception for us to use the center grassy area, considering our excellent track record. Unfortunately, after the three of them met yesterday at Group Camp to review the site and came to the decision quoted above. There is nothing else we can do.

As such, we are going to be enforcing restrictions on parking.

1. Absolutely NO vehicles are to be in the center grass area at ANY TIME.
2. Tow rigs, car hauler trailers and campers/RVs are to park in the open grass area at Site B ONLY.
3. If there is no more room at Site B for your camper/RV, tow rig or car hauler trailer, you will need to park it somewhere outside of group camp, such as the Eldorado Outpost.

IF you have a camping trailer such as a M416 or 4x10 trailer (@jamesurq, @jimsmith1370 ,@stevezero ,@k4azy, etc) you can park wherever you find a spot.

Everyone, please do not be greedy with the space you take to set up your campsite. We're going to have a lot of people.

I apologize if this has been answered, but is it possible to register at the event? I don't know how busy work will be that week.

Yes, but you will not be guaranteed a shirt.

I finally got around to registering the family for LR 2017.

It's shaping up to be a beast of a raffle. Seems every day there is another box on our doorstep. Gonna have to bring a trailer to haul all this stuff. Had a BIG box from Tepui show up today. How's that for a tease.

What is the raffle ticket purchase limit?

Registered for Nathan and myself. See y'all there!
