Local Yellow Zinc Plating Source?

Does anybody know of a source for yellow zinc plating in small batches? I've tried calling a coupl eof local companies and they want nothing to do with small batches!

wouldn't want to do something crazy off color, it might contrast with that Chevy V8 next to it.

Try caswellplating.com......the owner pretty much cornered the market on plating for miniatures. I buy my powder coating supplies from them. they have some small kits for plating at home too.

I might try them if I can't find a local place to do a small batch. It sounds like a royal PITA to do with that kit and I don't really have enough parts to do to justify buying it.

I ask because I have parts silver zinc plated and could throw them in the batch if it wasn't time sensitive.

I was hoping to get the factory yellow zinc look for some small parts for my restoration. I appreciate the offer.

you might be better off mailing your stuff to the place where Trollhole (Marshall) gets his stuff done.. he got a 5 gallon bucket done for like $100... i got a small box of stuff done in CT for like $200 so $10 of shipping would have been worth it for such a small box

I still have it. One of the nasty chemicals ate through its container though so you'd need more of that. But the rest is still good.

How much do you want for it? Which chemical leaked? Do you have a power supply?
