Sam, let me know if you need a hand, happy to help on the install.

Thanks Dan. I might take you up on that. I was thinking about trying to get the struts assembled at work so I can just swap them in. Maybe an "install day" here at the Stewart garage?? :hhmm:

Sure! There, here, where ever. Just let me know.

Well my stuff came in prob like a week ago. Been super busy and haven't had time to mess with it. But here it is!!

Ironman 1.webp

That would drive me absolutely nuts to have that sit there like that. :)

I offered to help him :P

I think he is waiting for me to get some stock hats and hardware headed his way. Hopefully they will go out in the next day or two.

I ordered new ones @jynx. That way if yours are different or the studs don't fit I'll have some to put it together with.

Gonna try to get my junk installed next week. Probably just going to have one of the guys at work do it. I have NO TIME lately and I fear it will just sit there forever if I don't get someone else to put it on. Also going to try to go ahead and get my exhaust some time in the next couple of weeks so I can put it on. Might tackle that one at the house though. Should be pretty quick and easy.

I always think it will be quick and easy.... I wish I could be so lucky.

Just stop by my house with parts and beer. Things will magically happen!

Dan if I can manage to get a day off that very well may happen. Right now I'm working 6 days and about 60 hours a week. Also, call me or message me so I can invite you to the growler party next Sunday.

I was merely curious, when y'all go with the larger tires on your 120's, what do you do about the speedo calibration? Sorry for the dumb, newb question!

sooo is it done yet? :bounce:

Mine is not that far off. I think at 70 mph it's really 75. I checked it against GPS. So, there is NO plug and play remedy for the 4Runners. I did find where a guy figured out how to correct it with a generic aftermarket calibrator. I think it was actually designed for motorcycles. Anyway, since mine isn't that far off I just live with it. I may try to correct it later but since you have to splice into the wiring and stuff I'm a little hesitant.

No. :crybaby:

Still hasn't even been touched and all my parts are still laying in the floor. I was going to drive it the other day but like a dummy I left a bunch of firewood in the back and forgot about for like 2 weeks (haven't driven the truck much obviously ). So, I got all the firewood out last night and I'm gonna air it out this weekend. It didn't smell *bad* per se but it did smell very strongly and I didn't particularly want to drive it like that.

I also have a few items on the Lexus that need to be addressed. So, I may have to prioritize that since the :princess: has been asking politely* about it.

*hounding me daily

So I got my Ironman stuff on today finally. (Well, *someone* put it on, obviously wasn't me)

So my "after" measurements with the spacers was like 38 front 39 rear I believe. Now it's sitting at about 38.5 front and 40 rear.

So how's it ride? From those numbers it sounds like the rear should settle in for an almost even stance.

I'm just hoping the front doesn't settle much. ~1 of rake is ideal. And I haven't driven it yet. Going to do the alignment today and I'll probably drive it home tonight.

Drove it to lunch. The ride is VASTLY improved. I'm going to drive it home tonight as well so I'll report back my findings.
