I got a back order notice... what the heck, backorder on a one a of a kind?

Ok, here's the deal folks. The orders taken were PRE ORDERS. That means, these items were not made yet & not in stock. Once all orders were received by the deadline in place, Justin reviewed quantities & placed the order with the company that makes the badges. Once badges are completed, they ship them to our fulfillment center. The reason you are all receiving back order notices is because once the orders were entered in to the fulfillment center's system, a back order notice is auto sent because the badges have not arrived yet so the system reads this item as OUT OF STOCK. I could either get all 300 orders entered manually now or wait for the badges to be delivered & do it then. I did it now so that when the badges deliver, Andy can ship them ASAP since the orders are already in his system. The orders have been placed, the badges will be shipping to our fulfillment center this week (from what I've been told) & once the inventory has been added, all of your orders will ship out. HTH!

I don't have any update on a ship date at this point. If memory serves, Andy was expecting them to arrive by the 30th which means they will ship out next week, but I will post up here again once Andy advises that he has received them at his facility. How's that sound?

I spoke with Chris Davis Saturday evening while we were both at Cruise Moab. Chris was the fellow who originally brought the idea forward, and is our primary contact with the vendor. I advise Chris that we have a bunch of folks who preordered and want the goods ASAP. He promised me he would check with the vendor first thing today (Monday 5/3). He is going to skim off the ~40 that Rising Sun ordered as a group buy, then ship the rest to Andy. I advised Chris to please coordinate with Jennifer and Casey.

There was apparently a quality issue from the vendor, and it seems to have been resolved, and they are expected to ship soon. Like, anytime, soon. They will ship from vendor to our fulfillment house, then straight out to you guys. Thanks for understanding!

Got mine -- It's unfortunate that they didn't include a flat metal strap to mount it, but I'm glad it was noted on the invoice

Looks good. I just need to get a strap to mount it.
