Wait and see mode here, for a couple of reasons:
1- the fit and finish int he pictures posted is not good, and
2- the price is incredibly cheap, which concerns me regarding the longevity of a device. The factory nav, while dated, still works fine on my 13 year old truck, I wonder how many of these will fail within 13 months...
If the fit is better than I've seen then I might consider it, depending on the complexity of the install, but I used to work in a car audio shop while in college and half of our work was removing crappy products that never worked as anticipated because they were so cheaply made.
Group buy??
Sure, but the more you pop off these trim pieces the more you chance breaking one or more, even with the right tools. I assume this is PnP, but we'll have wait and see just what that entails, as these all in one units can be pretty deep.that said, the price is why this is interesting. affordable enough that it isn't going to alter the course of your life if it doesn't work out. nothing prevents you from mothballing the factory nav if this fails though and just re-install if you're not happy with it. there's no cutting of any of the OEM trim to make this fit from what i can see.

my other concern is upgrading the OS on the device as these things change constantly.
Look at the trim above the top of the screen, driver's side:In the pictures I've seen posted so far, I don't see enough to say that it is a "good fit", or a "bad fit". What are you seeing that I am not?
