Where were these pics taken? Texas?

Huh? We can't hear what you're asking. Maybe post some pics up so it'll help! :p

If you're gonna chime in you have to contribute, kinda like if you bring something to class, you have to share!

Since these pictures I've had a front bumper built. I took the stupid body lift off, thank God, and have gone to bfg m/t km2's. The camper is soon to come. So in other words, not worthy of calling it an expedition vehicle, but I've seen some good stuff in it.

... now can i know if those pics were in Texas?

Taco Bueno, you need to turn off the privacy settings for the pics so you can then grab the .jpg script.

I am glad you gave in a posted pics though. :D ;p

Everyone knows what this thread needs is simply just...

MOAR PICTARS!

someday I hope to add a taco xtra cab (2.8 diesel) to the collection. Someday...

So who has some "Winter" projects going? Erm, "Summer" for our pals in the Southern hemisphere. :D

As for us, all is good here, baby's doing fine and all I have managed to do is just a quick tune-up and oil change. I'll try to get some pics if we travel at the end of the month.

Thanks!

It's one of my favorite racks (Noselda) made by my favorite rack company in Japan (Aiba Works).

It's made of aluminum and it cam be completely disassembled.

Plus you can get a lot of attachments for sking/snowboarding, plus aux. lighting, etc...

I've got two of these. One is a shorty like on your rig. The other is a full length which has a solid aluminum floor and a sunroof access hatch. As for disassembly, the rack is aluminum. The scerws and bolts are cheap steel and usually disintegrate when faced with a screw driver or rachet. Both of my racks are likely 15 years old. I am replacing all of the screws and bolts with SS. Can't wait to use the full length one this summer. The sunroof hatch and aluminum floor will make it great for the local airshow as well.

Hey Proton, is that the road to Bloody Mountain and the twin lakes beneath her? Maybe the most terrifying road I have driven but what a campsite! Surprised to not have seen you in the city- I'm the silver & black HJ60.

sk8rdi16,

Right now it's a modified deer stand that I strap to the rear tire. The horizontal strap supports the weight while the vertical strap holds the top portion of the stand to the tire.

I am now in the process of finding a way to mount the stand to a bracket and connecting that to the rear tire hitch.

96 FZJ80 Cross Country from Utah to CT overlanding family style

Thanks to some great MUD forum members this family trip worked out great. Bought the tripple locked, 285'd, OME'd, CDL'd rig on the forum and flew to CO to pick it up. Jim from Solid Rock Off Road helped with installing the RTT that night and we were off. My wife and daughter (6 1/2) traveled with me 15 days, 4000 miles, and hit 6 National Parks driving back to CT. This has been a great rig for us.

Camping just north of the Great Sand Dunes NP in CO

Wheeling the overlook trail moderate section at Canyonlands NP

Camping, outback style in route to picture frame arch south of Moab UT

:D 1/4 way in from the left, just below the second big shrub (tree?) on the horizon line, where the road splits to the right in a "Y" towards the arch . It blends in well in the shot! You're heading into the shot. Found that even w/ the lowered pixelation. :steer: No I have never been there, I searched for the vehicle then Google Earthed the trail, I am that good!

What did I win?

FWIW You'll all have to wait until we head out next week for Christmas with family for us to get some Sierra Snow pictures.
I want to try to get a shot of the decorated tree at Copperoplis, CA's little "town square".
Reason is there's this big clock tower in the background, Back to the Future-esque thing that will make a nice 4Runner shot since I don't have the black pickup. ;)
Also, I'm toying w/ the idea of whether or not to go to 32's.
