How do you like the Basecamp? I have thought about the 20 footer.

I love it. It's not really an off-roader but the amenities are awesome. The efficient interior layout makes it seem like there's more room inside than there should be. I'm used to tent camping or sleeping in my car, so it's awesome having a kitchen, bathroom with shower, and bed contained in a really nice hard-sided package. The 16X is really easy to tow as well for the LX.

Wrapping up my final week of a month long fly fishing trip. Here is my Intech Flyer Pursue in an absolutely empty lake front Forest Service campground in the UP of Michigan. I love this trailer - put another 10,000 miles on it so far this year with zero issues - just routine maintenance.

We love our Intech Flyer Explore! Probably has a little more resistance than your Pursue with the added height+weight. It's just the right thing for our family of 5 (we have the double tip-out bed option). We averaged about 10.5-11mpg on a 1,600 road trip between TX and NM.

Found out today the camper's been totaled from a recent hailstorm (the LX was on the verge of being totaled, too). It's all cosmetic, so we'll probably just buy it back and sticker it up.

Quick weekend trip to Kodachrome. Chill state park type camping. First trip with the fridge, and first real test of the solar charging. Granted it was cold overnight and pretty cool during the day, but the aux battery stayed topped up the whole time. Lowest I saw was 95%.

Just wrapped up ten days at 10000ft hunting second rifle season for mule deer in Colorado. 6 inches of snow on Saturday followed by -6 degrees on Monday morning. Lots of mud later in the week. Zero issues.

I’m not overly familiar with LX roof - did you delete side rails and install the footer/crossbar combo? Or does the Lx already come sans side rails? Looks great and lowers the overall cross rail height it appears.

Yup, exactly. Deleted OEM setup, installed a Rhino Rack Vortex set instead. The details are buried in my build thread somewhere.

San Rafael Swell in Utah last month.
