LED Headlights? (2 Viewers)

Hey 60's

I'm wanting to install LED headlights in my 60.

I'm reading that a lot of guys are having issues with the wiring .

Any recommendations from experience ?

Lots of threads on this. But basically you need a conversion harness to run LEDs because the truck lights are switched ground where most modern cars are switched power. So the adapter harness essentially converts the stock harness to switched power/common ground. Then also sometimes the hi beam indicator needs some tricks to work.

FJ62 Headlight Upgrade Options

The PO said he had the headlights "upgraded" about 10 years ago on my FJ62. They have "Wagner Halogen" written across the lens. They work alright, but there has to be something better with today's technology. What are y'all using? I know I don't want the funky looking projector lights TLC uses...

Brighter Headlights for FJ60???

Does anyone know of brighter replacement headlights for a 60? I am sure mine are working fine but am now used to the more modern, brighter lights. Thanks

H4 halogen is a much easier upgrade and will still be much brighter than the old stock bulbs and wiring. Nice thing about H4 ..much less expensive, easy to replace the bulbs, no problems with polarity. Check out these three items that I bought from Amazon...all plug and play:

Toyota makes a upgrade that comes with new wiring harness and lights, complete plug and play. Best upgrade for the money. $50 or less.
