Fwiw, this is the CBS01 installed in the perch:

Thanks. Here is the spacer I received.OD is 25mm and ID is 15mm. The center pin is 14mm. I am not sure what is an acceptable wiggle room between the pin and bushing. Maybe I should just go back to the stock sleeve. The rubber on those have a larger ID than the spacers though. But I guess the side plates keep movement in check better.

This thread is very timely for me as I just started installing the new OME lift on my rear axles. After making a call to the shop that I bought the kit from, I decided to just reuse the original rubber centering parts. They're not in the greatest shape, but I'm confident they'll hold the springs in place for a few more years at least.

Should the pins in the springs face up or down? The new springs I just got have the pins up, but I am thinking they should face down as they slide nicely into the bottom rubber pad.

Are you referring to the bolt that holds the leaves together? If so, I don't thing it matters, though on my OME springs the nut was facing down. Either way, the head of the bolt or the nut act as the center for the axle perch or the bottom plate.

Trying to remember, but I think they point down. If you add a leaf later (manny of us do) you will be glad. It's the nature of the 60 to add spare tire carrier, bigger gas tank, etc. to the back. Besides the spring pack gets weaker after a few short years.

Thank you gents, the ones I bought (General Springs of KC) arrived with pin up, bolt down. I flipped them to fit the new rubber pads for the bottom. They fit the rubber pad perfectly. Do I need a centering ring for the topside as well?

Another question, some of the plastic nibs seem to have sheared off in transit, and one of the springs has different clamps than the other. Is this something to be concerned about?

You got new rubber toyota pads for the rear? is that what you're referring to? Like these?

If so, there should be one on the top and one on the bottom of each rear spring, for a total of four pads needed. They act as the centering mechanism on both the top and bottom. OR, as mentioned, you can use the bushing cruiser outfitters provides.

I probably wouldn't worry about the springs you have.

Ah, thank you. I bought bottom pads (ones with the slots in your pic) but not the top. Top and bottom pads are the same part number, correct?
