"Say hello to the AT37, a modified Toyota Land Cruiser built by Arctic Trucks. On the surface, it looks like a Land Cruiser with meaty tires. But there's a bit more to it than that.

Arctic Trucks—the same group that built Top Gear's Hilux fleet for the infamous Polar Special—went after the latest Land Cruiser with a whole host of upgrades. The stock suspension is replaced with a 2-way adjustable setup featuring longer-travel coilovers in front. New springs and dampers hold up the rear, giving the tweaked Toyota a modest 1.5-inch suspension lift. 17-inch wheels from Arctic Trucks are shod with BFGoodrich T/A K03 37-inch tires (hence the AT37 name), and to make sure they fit without rubbing, a 10-piece widebody kit is installed."

I spent the morning with Emil from Arctic Trucks, such a neat gentleman. They have some neat projects in the works including the AT37 on the LC250. I'd love to see these in the US

Spied getting fuel.

What lift did you go with?

IMO 275/70R18’s w/ 2-3in lift is perfect on these.

And here it is. 2” and 275/70R18 Toyos. I think the 2” is closer to 2.5” in the front. Either way, I’m super happy with it.

Is that a factory color I’m not aware of, or a wrap?
Wrap. I did not confirm the asking price, before mods the msrp was $58k. It was hard to read the sticker through the tint.

What kind of lift is it? A Collar lift or Suspension lift? Who is the vendor? - thanks!

@Nature Calls : It’s a Rough Country with strut spacer and coil bucket drop and new rear shocks. Super simple, but retains factory ride and is very easy to install. My LC is a lease for my company, so I’m not going to invest bigger money into it at this point. I’ve used Rough Country in a few lease vehicles before, and as an American company that’s been in the lift/suspension business for 30 years plus, I trust them a lot more than the Amazon specials.

The westcott rack is great. Super light weight, much quieter that the oem rack.
Good to hear. Thanks for the honest answer. Not sure where I saw it but Jeff was driving either a LC or GX and he said you could hear the factory rack causing chatter.

Nice. How much did it lift the rear?
Which rear shocks did you get?
I've been thinking along the same lines. I think 2" front, 1" rear would be perfect.
It looks like with that kit you could leave one of the small spacers off the front to get closer to 2" instead of 2.5".
I want to wait to get a full system later when everyone has theirs out and they have some history of use.

I got the N3 shocks. They have been great in other vehicles I’ve had them in. If you read through the install instructions, they want you to use both of the shim plates to sandwich the polymer piece. It sits “right” with both in it.

I will consider going to a higher end lift if I keep thi past the warranty period, but that’s 5 years and 60,000 from now.

Thanks - indeed, a very nice "company" car!
