Mishhhh good luck ;)

After two weeks, I finished the "new" beadlock wheels. They were more work than I had thought.
They are the OEM Volvo wheels with TR external ring and OAM internal (machining workshop a friend).

Also have changed to tubeless. And the offset about 1.25".

Amazing work and glad to see it moving along...
I guess I am not clear about what is going on in this pic... Did you narrow the rim?

I have a bet; a weld bead to secure the tire on the rim when going tubeless. Otherwise you might risk the bead moving on the rim at low pressure.

Excellent work, how much and how did you move the centers?

Awesome work and very cool set up!

Why steel valve stems, seems like a weak point?

It was the only option, there is very little space to the valve.
The same thing happens with any TR wheel, is the same 45° steel valve.

BTW, the original valve stem hole are covered, and I have drilled a new hole for standard valve stem.

These wheels works with inner tubes. They did not have wheel hump in the bead seat.

Now are tubeless =).

Yeah!. ;)

With a big lathe machine, welding is removed. With a large hydraulic press moves the center, and then back to the lathe machine for alignment. And weld again.

Looks like I owe you a beer

Autometer gauges install (tach, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, voltmeter). And some pics of the OEM receiver (I think it still works).

This is going to be such a capable rig! Don't slow down with the pics, looks great so far.

After a long time. Pics of the Volvo portals (brushed, cleaned and painted).
Even we haven't started with the hard part of the build. Time to time.
