These little silly Motors are so easy to pull. I didn’t even have to try. One hook on the alternator bracket and out.
Because you need a crane to pull a 2F. Someone should make an aluminum block 2F. They’d sell a dozen of them! Lol.
Doesn't the + and military wrap on the spring face forward? Or did I miss something intentional?

Military wrap always goes on the fixed pin.
The plus, as I understand, means that particular spring is above spec. If you have a O it’s in spec. If you have a minus it’s below spec.

Interesting, I always thought the arrow / + pointed forward, I guess it makes sense that the stronger connection would be to the frame as there is one less pin/fail point there... Glad i didn't torque my leafs yet...

Only got to spend a couple hours on the Limo today unless you count 1014 texts with Mike but to be fair I think 700 or so were just him talking to himself.
Pulling parts to go to powder and cutting out oddball wires from the stock harness.
All the stuff that the 350 installer used to attach brackets ans such are big wood screws.

I know what happens when I order the wrong stuff, and sometimes it takes effort to get clarity from you. We get there eventually.

I spent the morning grabbing some awesome set of service station signs and installing them.
I moved back to the Limo after lunch and got the passenger side cleaned up. I scrubbed it with Zepp orange and it laughed at me.
Next I broke out the CLR and Scotchbrite and made it my bitch
