This 350 swap was particularly offensive. It used the front cradle and the rear crossmember that is one clutch dump away from a shattered tcase.....the front shaft is maybe 12” long. 100% not my thing. The owner has 2 other cruisers with Chebby V8s so he’s not a hater. Just me.

We got a front double Cardan shaft tin great condition from Classic Cruisers that did not need any joints which is a nice positive. Those guys are solid @Ratboy

I took the measurements off my truck with the same drivetrain the Limo will be getting and had the rear shaft shortened and new joints installed. CV shaft was lengthened.

Also Mike grabbed a new FJ60 PS pump for the coming 2F

Parts like this will start stacking up until it’s time to go.....

Where did you get the 60 PS pump?
 
Stance on the Limo looks damn good post suspension and tire upgrade. Maybe I missed it, but which suspension did you go with and how much of a lift? I'm guessing the owner (Mike) isn't getting the range extender package...yet?
 
I was looking up new OEM boxes and found just the valve ass. for @ $1,400. I'm not sure you can still buy a new whole box.

Found it....$4,300


EDIT...This one is for a T100, 4runner, but you get the idea.

Spent the morning putting an Ironman suspension on a 62 and replacing all the steering components. They then helped me move the Limo back Into the old shop where I can work on the engine bay and interior and not keep the lift clogged up
