I do not have the jack...FYI..

Okay, I've been pretty quiet on this weekend hoping not to jinx it. Seems to have worked so far.

I'm planning on bringing the 40 Saturday and doing electrical: LED exteriors, new gauge cluster, etc. It's all stuff I know how to do so I'm hoping it won't take too long and I can watch Charity work on her 40.

Looks like Charity has breakfast on Saturday. Mike has dinner on Saturday. Somebody let me know if I should plan on cooking lunch Saturday or just kicking in $$$ to Charity and Mike and bringing beer.

My worst case scenario is driving the new 80 if weather dictates...

Yeah John!! Maybe you can pass some of your electrical knowledge on to me.

My huz should know tomorrow if his usual oyster contact will be able to provide - if so we'll be bringing those too.

Ryan - youre bringing the TRE tool right? Ive got four or five jackstands and a 3 ton jack that Ill be packing up to utilize.

Does anyone happen to have the actual mirrors for the earlier 40? I dont need the arms, but the mirror piece is apparently rotted out - cheap metal I suppose.

Im also looking for a single bucket seat to replace the jumpseats in the rear (or, a quality bench seat) - anyone got one in good condition? cheap?

Im so excited! Now watch. Once everyone shows up, I get all shy and quiet. What a silly girl.

Mike - you did say we'd need to bring air mattress/sleeping bags? I dont want to forget anything.. Are we still opting for poker Saturday night? Nickel dime quarter...?

Yes bring air mattresses and sleeping bags. I've got huge amounts of floor space but actual beds with linens are limited. I'm unsure how many people plan on staying. And if anyone wants to camp or bring an rv or whatever that's cool too.

Anyone else planning on arriving.g Friday??

We ll be there Friday afternoon-ish

One more thing. Is anyone bringing a 90 degree drill for my caster plates?

I'll be hanging around for a few hours on Saturday... probably get down there between 11 and 12. I was thinking of bringing a kid with me. Anyone else bringing kids? Will it be a hassle or just not the right environment?

If I don't bring a kid than I'll probably come down earlier in the morning and I can bring the only thing nobody's mentioned yet... breakfast booze. Nothing like some Bailey's in your coffee to prep for an afternoon of beer and a night of tequila.

Why not a REAL Irish coffee - ya' know, with some Jameson!

Funny anecdote, my wife and I took our Honeymoon in Ireland and were touring The Ring of Kerry (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_of_Kerry) and one stop was at a little gift shop kinda' place. It was about 9:30 AM and a cool day so I decided to have an Irish Coffee from the menu. That's when I found out Bailey's is NOT what they put in their coffee - and the funny part is nobody seemed at all surprised I was getting liquored up at 9:30AM. Business as usual.

My 11 year old daughter will be with us. She just happens to be the most mature member of our family LoL We've never expected peoples behavior to change just cause she was around. She knows every curse word in the book, but she also knows better than to repeat any of them LoL Plus she's great at sorting tools and clean up work. She manages to keep herself busy - Im sure she'd enjoy having someone to talk to! How old is your child?

Morning Booze? I thought that was a requirement!:D

MIKE- breakfast shots!!! WTH was in those??!?!?!??

On our way out to Moab, Mike and I met a couple in Columbia, MO who wanted to hear about the trip. They ended up buying us a bunch of shots, called Breakfast Shots, which tasted exactly like syrup + pancakes with a cup of OJ. It was awesome.

Noted. The desire for breakfast booze is in the Irish genes... the recipe for an Irish coffee... apparently not.

My little ones are 5, 6 & 7. I'll be bringing one of the older ones (my boys) although if your daughter needs someone to talk to I might have to bring my little girl. She never stops talking.

Maybe one of these?? Bacon vodka? Where do I find such a delicacy??
Pancake Shot
The Pancake ShotLike pancakes and syrup? Then you'll love this shot! Appropriately dubbed the Pancake Shot, this drink tastes just like sweet, syrupy pancakes. An homage to the most important meal of the day, in a celebratory shot.
Pancake Shot
1 oz. Jameson whiskey
1 oz. Butterscotch schnapps
Pour ingredients into a shot glass and enjoy. This shot is excellent with a side of OJ and a strip of bacon.

Waffle Shot
The Waffle ShotLooking for a shot that tastes like waffles and syrup? Look no further - try the Waffle Shot!
Waffle Shot
1 oz. Vodka
1 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps
1 oz. Orange Juice

Pour all ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a shot glass and enjoy. This shot is excellent with a side of sausage links.

Another tasty variation on the Waffle Shot is made with Bakon Vodka. If you happen to have a bottle (or have infused your own bacon vodka) and are looking for creative drink recipes, try this one.

Waffle Shot (with Bakon vodka)
1 oz. Bakon Vodka
1 oz. Pinnacle Whipped Vodka
This shot can be served and consumed chilled or at room temperature, depending on preference. For room temperature, simply pour ingredients in a shot glass. For a chilled shot, shake with ice, strain into a shot glass, and enjoy.
Note: Not a substitute for breakfast.

Mira gets along with anyone...she'll be pleased as punch to have someone closer to her age.

My wife has decided she wants to come hang out. Also our border collie will be making the trip. Charity, what tools do I need to bring to adjust the drum brakes? We will be there Saturday morning. The weather looks like it is going to be good. It seems like food is set so I will bring beer/drinks and cash to help for the food. I am pretty excited to get Herman to the first meeting and get to check out a bunch of new vehicles.

There was definitely jameson and butterscotch schnapps, you've nailed that, I just can't remember if there was anything else in it. That may have been it :hhmm:

Time to experiment a bit methinks :D
