I'm in all in for one for a 62 whenever they come around.

By the way, how do you remove the light switch/trigger from an original cardboard glove box without cutting the cardboard or wires? Anyone? Working on my ac right now, trying to get back there. Thanks.

UPDATE!!
I am in the process of making another batch (10-15) of powder coated steel glove boxes. I will also be making a few aluminum versions out of 1/8" 16GA. These will be a new option to those interested.

UPDATE 3/4/2025:

Between work, meetups and getting sick I was able to find some time to assemble some glove boxes. I will be powder coating them this weekend. They will be ready next week for shipping for those interested.

Yes, once in a while I stop in to see what is going on. Keep coming up with new items, Jim, and Bart will never be complete. Have to admit that his glove compartment box is solid so no need for this item. How is that FJ62 fusible link project coming?

UPDATE 5/8/25

If anyone purchased a glove box for their 62 and had an issue with the stock light hitting one of the dash supports, please let me know.

For those that have asked for aluminum versions......I am in the process of making a few. These will be for the 60 & 62's. I will offer these with an LED light and stock connector only, no stock light hole. These will be available with or without powder coat. There will also be an adhesive backed foam pad option for inside the glove box. I don't have pricing on this version yet as I'm trying to find a vendor for an LED light.
