PM sent.Ditto™.![]()
Thanks for spreading the word, I appreciate it.I showed my guy in Wimberley this box and told him I wanted one in my rebuild. He said he was going to order a few from you for some of his other builds.![]()
Lucky you still have your original...mine was nearly dust 10 years ago, lol.I did some ac work and been debating on putting my glovebox back in. I think I might just wait for one of these.
I ran them all as a batch order (12 in total). I will powder coat them next weekend.Looking good. I'm flying to Austin next week to pick up my 60. If one of the first ones could be shipped to Danny, that would be great.![]()
Last measurement you gave me was 12 3/4" wide, that was back in Oct. I was waiting on you to send a photo of the glove box opening.for my 88 fj62 do you still need a measurement for fitment? I am interested in this still.
One of these is yours, please don't put your stock one back in.I did some ac work and been debating on putting my glovebox back in. I think I might just wait for one of these.
Thank you for posting photos, it looks good in your cruiser. Ive had another person need a spacer under the latch also. Do you know the thickness that you had to add to get the latch to the right height? It would be easy to make something out of aluminum or UHMW to send with the glove boxes in case they are needed.View attachment 3688106Got mine installed today - Really pleased with the quality and fit. Excellent product.
I ended up shimming the striker with a couple of washers (and using some slightly longer OEM screws) to get it to latch properly. I guess the original cardboard insert pushed the striker down a little bit, and the glovebox cutout understandably eliminates it. Hope that helps someone.

Perfect, thanks.Of course - I measure the thickness at 3.6mm / 0.14” - it would’ve worked with slightly less, so I imagine a 1/8” spacer would do it.
PM SentInterested for an 85 FJ60.
