Message to those waiting for Aluminum glove boxes.
It may be a few months until I will be able to get a prototype and test them before they are available to order. As mentioned before I have a full time job and make glove boxes in my spare time. In addition to work we are taking on some large home remodeling projects.
As for the powder coated steel ones, I have 2 left in stock and ready to ship (1 gray, 1 black). I will be making another 14-15 of those as soon as I run out.

I installed the steel glove box insert today. Rather I bench tested it since since the dash is out of my 1995 FJ60. This is a GREAT product!! I have two really good “paper” inserts but who would want those when you can have this steel one. I am sure everybody’s fit is different but I did have to use a file to remove some of the metal from each of the four corners to make it sit flush. Easy to do. And don’t tell my wife I was working on this on the rug in my office. I did have a towel down. It is too hot in my garage today in Las Vegas.
