Is there a need for tailgates?

Found a guy who has 4 or 5 decent tailgates. going from memory, they are between 69 and 76, one or two have handles, no rust, but maybe some small dings. I'm willing to get them and ship them out if there is enough interest. Not sure on exact cost at this time, but was thinking I could get them in the $375 range, shipping would be from Helena MT 59602

What years did Toyota emboss "TOYOTA" at the top of the tailgate? How many different tailgates did they make for US Pigs? Are they all interchangeable?

The one I could ship to Ehsan does have the embossed TOYOTA - is the one that most folks would be interested in repros of?

Hesitant may not be the right word.. .. Its just a trademark breach which I think is quite illegal. ..

Maybe James could ship his gate off of Ben's old Pig? I think he said he was just going to weld it shut anyway.

yours can still be used as a template, he just won't put "toyota" in it.

I forgot about this thread, DOH! I have the green one available also one other one I got from the guy, the others he told me about where rusted at the bottom edge so I passed.

Even rusted ones (moderate rust) would do as templates. So if you have an old one in the junk that would work.
