I wish I would've waited to buy my lifts from him. That's a pretty good deal.
I agree, it does seem like a good deal, but the difference is in what's missing. FOR and Slee's kits offer other parts though I'm not sure that you need them. Slee's 4" kit for instance offers the following additional parts:
-steering damper
-double carden shaft
-adjustable upper control arms
-breather extensions
-e-brake cable drop bracket
-front and rear bump stop blocks
If you buy those parts in addition to the Ironman lift then you're going to spend the difference anyway, question is do you actually need them and I can't seem to get a concrete answer from anyone. Other than the breather extensions, those parts look significant to me though I know that many who have installed FOR's 3.5-4" kit have not needed the DC shaft (I know, some people do, some don't).
I got the chance to see Motorcoach123's FOR kit in his 80 the other day and I must admit that I liked the look of it. I hadn't considered FOR's kit before because I've kind of been left with the impression that the FOR kit has a fantastic ride but doesn't handle the combined extra weight of tons of "add ons", bumpers, sliders roof rack, winch etc.
The other impression that I've been given is that Slee's kit does handle extra weight really well. So who really knows what the "best deal" is, it will always depend on who you talk to I guess, until there is a side by side comparison done of all the different suspension kits out there.
