Jeep is on it's last leg.

Want an 80 locked.

Millage is not that important.

Use as a daily driver.

price 7-10k

Have one deal that may be in the works as we speak.

you are getting soft on us marshall........... :grinpimp:

but I don't think you will have a problem finding one locked in that price range the prices on these rigs just keep on dropping. There is one for sale on a car lot near the house here, I will stop in and see if it is locked and what the price, you have any objections to the color black?

good luck

They are all hitting 170kish and with gas prices as they are the price is forced down even more. With the new SUVs all having V8s and such it kicks them down even more!

Great time to buy. There are several on this site sub-7k.

That said...more 80s, more 80s, more 80s!!!

They are all hitting 170kish

That is a broad generalization that's not accurate, at least not in the market around here...

Good choice Marshall, you're going to love it!!

How can a generalization be accurate? It wouldn't be a generalization if it was! :D

Generalizations can be accurate, just with much less specificity.

Either way, forget the generalization piece.

All 80s aren't hitting 170kish. How's that? :D

Most are! :) lol

Looks like I may have found one. Going SUnday to look at it. 40th Anv. From the pics it looks to be in good shape. For 7k I can deal with the high millage and any issues.

don't forget to take a pair of panties with you for the test drive :flipoff2:

That would be pink for the lx....don't forget to look at the 450's...I found mine cheaper than a 80 when I was looking.

I have decided not to rush into buying the first one I see. Though it is still top choice right now. I will start looking at as many as possible. Plan on buying something in the next three weeks.

Thanks John and Jason for the links.

buying tip

Make sure the starter works. :grinpimp:
I just pulled our starter today.*^&#@$*&^%$ ...X2!
Let's just say somebody in Japan on the assembly line
LOVES a lot of torgue. Man that bottom bolt was
a bee atch. Cheater pipe was needed to break that sucker loose.
The wrench or the bolt was going to give. Thankfully it was
the bolt breaking free and not snapping in two.
New starter goes in tomorrow.
Oh, and our 96 is slowly approaching 150K.
Troll...you are going to love an 80.
