I wish I had a pawn shop near me lol I literally just got internet 3 months ago. I'm very far out in the sticks but I'll have to go to Walmart and get one on black Friday. Hopefully til then these are my only issues I have (knock on wood) my next project after these is to figure out why code 71 keeps popping up now for egr. I've replaced the egr and vacuum guy next to it, so I'm gonna look at fsm today at work. I have an idea from a couple threads I've peaked at on here. I appreciate u being patient w me. This thing has alot of sentimental value to me, as my dad passed away in June and I sold his truck that was rotted out for something that I thought was much more reliable and something I've always wanted. Only to get scammed ungodly hard, even w a 2nd guy who was mechanic in army w me looking at it. So I'm highly upset w myself for getting in this situation but it's not going anywhere. I plan on getting this thing running like a top.
no worries bro, I hear you on the sentimental aspect. I grew up on the west coast and have fond memories of family road trips in the 94 cruiser, when my dad passed in 2013 I bought a 93 cruiser so I could always hop in it and go for a ride with him.
You'll get it all sorted out in due time, just got to slow down and deal with one problem till its fixed then move to the next. The EGR won't affect the performance of the car so you can ignore that code for now, deal with that after the more important issues.
Try to find a PDF viewing app for your phone that gives you the ability to navigate via bookmarks, you may have to spend a couple of dollars for it but it will help. Adobe Acrobat Reader comes to mind and should have this feature.
