Do all puppies have blue eyes at birth?

The pups are growing..the girls are the rulers. Vet says they can have puppy milk now. .
We picked up a used portable playpen to bring em to the car show since I can't imagine leaving them alone..
Lucky is the Alpha in the pack. First to play, first to snap back at our older dog Roxy. Roxy kept nosing her when she tried to walk knocking her over.. Lucky got tired of it and told her off.

Pictures, pictures! Can't wait to see these little ones in a few weeks!!

If you have any trouble finding homes for the pups, let me know. I've fostered and adopted goldens from the Neuse River Golden Rescue here in raleigh and still have some contacts there. They are fantastic people and will definitely find the best home possible for these little guys (if they dont get taken by mud members of course). Getting through their adoption process is harder than getting a gun in NC, they make home visits and make you list all sorts of references.

The rescues are the best. When my daughter turned 5, she requested spare change/donations in lieu of presents so that she could donate it to the Golden Rescue in Wilmington. We were floored! We ended up getting a tour and meeting some of the rescues..I have been obsessing over who is capable of loving the puppies. Lol I don't want to give them away, just to give them away.
Thanks - I'll let you know!

There is a request from me and my wife for more puppy pics please.

I uploaded a video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_5Pa80w7L8&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Cygnus - male with one front right white paw

Lucky & Olive (the girls) are almost indistinguishable (all black paws)

Freeborn - 1 smidgen of white on left front paw

Pollux.- all 4 paws white

They're all black, but they'd just been trying out Puppy milk in the bowl..and they seem to bathe in it..

Pollux woke up from a nap yesterday, wandered around...then went to the Puppy pad and peed on it! Yaaay

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I wasn't that bad. Just a little loose of tongue on Wednesday night and a little shaky on Thursday. No inappropriate bodily functions, for the record...

After riding in the tundra for two hours, new sights and sounds AND successfully making the hotel room smell like a backwoods Puppy mill run by a one legged Meth cooking hobbit-the puppies have passed out.

Sleep. Sounds like a plan.

One legged meth cooking hobbit? You owe me a new keyboard.

I have my moments:D

Lucky and Freeborn went together to a very nice family with kids Mira's age and 100 acres of free reign. I don't think it hit her until we got back in the truck . She is sad to see them go..and I'm an imperfect parent. I want to say it's part of the cycle of life, and remind her that it would've been impossible to keep all of them. Instead I stood in Wendy's hugging her while tears streamed down her face: (

Tell her that them being with you in the first place was just so that you could raise them until they were ready to go to where they were meant to be. Then remind her how much of a help she is in getting that done. And maybe mention how dogs bring joy to so many people and now it's somebody else's turn, blah blah blah (not to downplay your emotions there, just assuming you know the rest). I'm sad for your loss but happy for the progress.
