I just extracted this from a field

The guy actually had a title saying 1964. the inside is mostly gutted. it does
have a 4 speed tranny and sbc adapter plate bolted to it. the axles are both drum and shot. it had no grill, but a buddy had one laying behind his shed.
There are no wipers, motor or hardware in the frame, and the brackets that lock down the windshield are missing. Would anyone have any of that stuff?

i sold a set of four of those wheels with 33 inch swampers mounted on them to another mud member for $75.00 about a month ago.

You have to love the durability of the early FJ40 sheet metal. Looks pretty solid! Plus you get the cool corrugated hard top on the early ones. Have fun.

I have an early model windshield frame in very good condition. It's not as early as yours, doesn't have the vent in front, believe it's a 66. PM if interested, thx Texx

My FJ45 (66) has really solid wiper motor replacements. I'll see if i can dig up a pic and get the model/manufacturer off them.

Early wiper motors are hard to find in good shape.

Finally got a pic and a model # off the overhead wiper motors from the FJ454. These are replacements for the oem early-style motors (independent electric motors). It looks like there is some modification needed, but possibly in the form of a spacer. Didn't get a really close look.

Anyways, mine are this model- WWF12C18-730

They work great and have held up to the rain and snow.

New wiper motors can still be bought from the dealer, might try Cdan for a good price. The hood of a early hard top did not come with anytime for hood tie down.
