How Much Gear Oil ??

So I'm filling up my axles and was wondering how much gear oil to put in? Specifically the rear axle, it has a Nitro gear cover on it.

According to Trollhole's service manual, the rear axle stock capacity is 2.6 quarts. Front holds 3.2 qts.

I was just looking at the front because for the lokka installation a lot more has to come of because the front diff only has one cover

Fill them until the gear oil starts coming back out the fill hole. Done.

And make sure the fill plug comes out before you drain. Often said, but worth repeating. And replace both with this:
