Four years ago when we bought it non-op and towed it home…
Last month, still non-op, we towed it out to a retired mechanic friend in Ohio for a few months of meaningful attention…
It hadn’t run in at least 12 years, but he had it starting and idling within a few days. We’ll make occasional visits to help and learn. Plan is to do what’s necessary for us to drive it safely and reliably back to CA in Spring or early Summer 2022. Then we’ll use it for camping, exploring, mild to moderate 4-wheeling, etc.
