Ok. I'm about to order the kit. I was initially under the impression they only came one way. But after reading a bunch of posts referencing various springs I am beginning to wonder. In case it matters I will not be adding bumpers or winches any time soon if at all. Want approx 3" lift and trying to have as smooth a ride as possible.

Can someone please outline?

Let us know what kind of lead times you find. I'm planning on BP-51s in October or November as well as bumpers and drawers. I've read about long lead times for specific springs. I hate to bother anyone until I'm ready to order. I've got a van in Oregon that's being built and can't give up my LC until the van is home.

So nobody has an ETA on BP-51. I'm considering going with the base kit. Our truck won't be doing extended high speed desert runs or extreme off-roading. And I am wondering if the improvement in ride is worth the mear 3x premium as well as on-going rebuild costs.

You'd probably be fine with a mid-level setup. My setup is a semi-budget and it faired well in a somewhat extreme situations in Moab. I'll probably get the BP next though (unless Tough Dog comes out with a rebound and compression shock) as I've learned I enjoy some high speed stuff.

I looked at the extra cost and went with a similar lift I had on my 100, the OME Med-Heavies. I am sue the ride is better, but since I have always been happy with the OME ride with no complaints, I went with what I knew for less money.

Besides I am a set it and forget it guy. I wouldn't change the settings ever and that is part of the benefit.

Now I would be happy to try someones BP-51s and evaluate the difference :D
