So I’ve been running the Holley Sniper for a few weeks. Super easy install and much cleaner look over the Howell system it replaced . I’m still fine tuning and trying to figure out best timing and plug gap. So far I’m pretty happy with it. I used the master kit and installed a CCOT fuel tank. The fuel pump is loud but so is my exhaust. The fuel lines are just temporary until I decide how I want to run hard lines . Just thought I’d share a few pics .

I love your air cleaner, sure wish the new foundry would have given me an affordable quote to cast more of them. FWIW, if you rotate it a bit more it will be further from your brake master cylinder- - since the bottom lid is off-set for doing so.

That was the only way I could get it to line up and fit. I get compliments on your air cleaner .

Which fuel pump did they send with yours? The first master kit I installed came with a Walbro pump and it is silent. The next one came with a different pump and it is pretty loud, so I've ruled out using the master kit any more.

I’ll have to look. I’m going to try and isolate how I have it mounted. I reused a mount I made out of 1/8” sheet metal. I used it with the Howell system that had a Walbro pump.

Why not use one of my in-tank fuel pump mounting kits, it fits inside my 22 gallon rear fuel cell AND a stock Landcruiser tank.

Link to the kit?
I have same system newly installed and the pump is damn loud.
What model walbro pump would work? This is a 58lb ish pump iirc...

Ease of install. I already had a mounting bracket for the in-line and did not have to modify the tank at all. Eventually I probably will switch.

I ordered mine right from Holley over the phone. It’s the Holley Sniper 2300

I like this one...

The first kit I bought, they included the Walbro 392, and it is silent.

Second kit came with a MSD pump that is noisy.

I did call - they don’t care if it’s noisy. The do still send the Walbro with the 4 barrel units. It’s overkill for a 2F - they fuel an LS just fine.

My in-tank fuel pump mounting kit can be seen at ebay #253592985106 (if you already have my fuel cell) or ebay #263646816962 (if you need the aluminum top mounting plate/bolt ring to fit a stock Landcruiser tank). The depth of this kit can be modified to fit the stock Landcruiser tank merely by shortening the vertical mounting bracket. This kit does not include the fuel pump, an example of the fuel pump that works with this kit is at ebay #263784562895, these pumps range from $15.85 to $125.97. This set up would give FiTech/Sniper guys a nice quiet internal pump that runs much quieter than an external pump- - -easy deal.
NOTE: Guys using this kit with a stock tank have to cut the larger hole into the top of their tank AND use my top plate & bolt ring because they need the larger hole in the top of the gas tank in order to get the in-tank kit "bottom bowl" inside their stock tank.

I installed the 2300 master kit also the fuel pump came with a neoprene sleeve that goes over the pump it is quite not sure which pump it is.
