So I fitted up the bullbar today, basically just getting it to sit right, a bit of cutting a bit of welding and drilling and it's all secure and in place.

Yep I know it's dirty, I have to take it all off again so I can weld my winch cable in place, cut a hole in the front for the winch hole and then rub it back and paint it, plus I've got to cut the corners back further for the flares to fit.

Australia post f#*+ing hopelessly slow as usual again with deliveries

that fits real nice, cant wait to see the finished product.. are you going to fit new front quarter protection?
Thanks mate, what front quarter protection as you referring to

the two bars you cut off between the steps and your old bar
Oh the scrub bars :bang: Nah not gonna worry about them, they are aluminium anyway,

 Spudman

Fitted some cheap seat covers to protect my Turbo originals

Today I fitted the winch cradle, bolted the winch in place, fitted the fairy lead and the control

I forgot to take photos before I put the bar back on the truck. I was able to weld the cradle inside the supports on the bullbar which is very solid and looks just like a bought one.

I still can't wire it all up yet, once again fxxxing Australia Post, slow as a wet weekend, still waiting for the new solenoids to turn up, so once they finally get here I'll pull the bar off again and tidy everything up

The bonnet scoop I have came off a Nissan Patrol so I thought I'd get the stickers to match

Also my solenoids finally turned up, so I fitted them, the instructions say take plenty of pictures before dismantling, so lucky for me I did, as I had to refer to the photos a couple of times

Looking good mate very nice

Today I fitted the control box on winch, connected all the wires and Walla all works perfectly in and out, so I then fitted my spotties to the new bar and wired up the indicator park lights, I still need to paint the bar, but I'll leave that until I weld the new piece in. So instead I just gave it a polish and got rid of all the dirt.

Now, what's next :deadhorse:

Like the license plate! Love me some footy! Once in a while you can catch a game here in the states but not too often unless you pay premium prices for the more obscure sports channels. Great game though, much more action packed and rougher than our stuff.

How much do you reackon that bumper weighs, did you need to adjust ya headlights? You need heavy duty stuff up there. Sheep or roo's are my only worry, nearly hit a roo the other day, i don't think his tail is straight anymore, went straight over it!

Thanks mate, temp I luv the game, I even umpire the footy here as well, I thought they televised our footy worldwide

Hey Paul

Mate that bar is fxxxing heavy, around 60 kilos or more, I lifted it couple of times in the last few days and I don't want to it again in a hurry, although I drove it last night and headlights seemed ok, I think I had them a tad high before I put it on. The roos will definitely be nervous now :D

I wanna see those spotlights on at night
Yes I think I was supposed to post some night photos before, when they fully light up there is a tinge of red about them but they're still pretty good.

I will get some night photos
