I had a/c in the Sahara including grommets. I guess Toyota used the same grommets since the 40’ through the 60’ and 70’ series the same. Btw, the drain is the same size as the inlet (small pipe) .Where did you get grommets for AC lines thru firewall? Need to do same on mine.
Great tip using the lanolin on rubber parts. What are your plans for the 47? Cheers, Ben
I just ordered some from Mick Binns he has a FB page 12H-T Engine ModificationsI couldn’t find a “12H-T” decal that goes on the front of the rocker cover.
Is that something that nonexistent or am I just dreaming that I’ve seen it somewhere?..
Yes I know, that is a sticker and not a decal. ...ask me how do I know itI just ordered some from Mick Binns he has a FB page 12H-T Engine Modifications

First day out of the shed. The engine roars like a beast. The deep torque that grunts from 1600rpm is just fascinating.
Combined with a sound better than any music, its the wild beast that encaged in this classic shell.. no question another headturner on Perth roads.
Its still far from completion, but with all electricals sorted its definitely roadworthy now.
Its back in its original 24V setup, very straight forward. Need fill the a/c next and take care of body decal.
