Hey guys, just thought I would post some pictures of my fixed top that I'm trying to get back on the road 100% as close to stock as possible. And I'm going to also have to ask for a bit of help and tracking down some part numbers

Been about 15 years since I dragged this out of the weeds in a backyard in redbluff ca!! Still looks the same, super soild rust free California native!!
I am surprised you didn’t keep the stamped bezel!

Could anyone help me out with some part numbers and/or parts? Even just point me where to look.
1)Insulator/gasket below the SD40 carb
2) The rubber piece that goes on top of the carb to the air cleaner
3) part numbers/alternatives for radiator hoses. I have the metal pipe for the lower hose, just need the 2 rubber pieces or a part number for a donor

Thanks!

Nice looking SWB!

1- Marks Off Road has the insulator @65swb45
2- Air Cleaner to Carburetor Gasket for '58 to '69 Land Cruiser FJ40 FJ45 - https://www.cityracerllc.com/collections/land-cruiser-40-and-55-series/products/oem-air-cleaner-to-carburetor-gasket-for-58-to-69-land-cruiser-fj40-fj45
3- SOR has the hoses to fit early water pump and metal down tube. Or i can get you measurements of them so you can search yourself.

You currently have the newer style water pump on there, i have never tried to put the metal down tube to that water pump, diameters are different I think between the newer water pump and metal down tube, and angle of newer v older water pump outlet is different also.

nice original starter motor
looks like the center arm was swapped out for later design

I’ll trade you out for whatever style cap you want for your tin cup. Have plenty of both the square with pin hole vent or the rocker vent if you want yours to match. I’ll be thru Dallas in about 6 weeks and I should have the spare gasket your missing on brake tin cap

Yes, I have an original to swap back but I'm not sure its worthwhile
