Looks really good mate. What brakes did you go? I went all out on my old 40 with high preformance dba rotors and boy did that truck stop. Keep it up.

I was thinking about those dba’s but with the lack of upgraded rotors available I didn’t see the benefit for spending the extra $ on rotors. The brake mprovement is a complex one, you need a bigger caliper (larger or more pistons) then a bigger or more sophisticated disc and finally a larger main cylinder to pump sufficient amount of fluis matching those pistons. In my humble opinion by only putting in more expensive and sophisticated discs doesn’t make no braking force improvement.
One of my frienfs gave me a pair of genuine nos rotors and so Ijust had to rebuild my original calipers.
There is plenty of stopping force in the original system.
If I was to improve anything I would converted the RR drums, but not at this stage. I do however run genuine brake pads in the front as one thing I hate is a squeaking brake :grinpimp:

Just amazing detail to your work.

Rolling chassis. Exhaust is installed. It is a 3” all the way mandrel bent stainless steel one from Outback Exhaust and fits like a glove. Initially I didn’t like their little welded logo at the tail pipe and thought that will cut that off, but yesterday I said these guys deserve to be showed off so I kept their logo on the exhaust.

Prepping the body for mating the frame. Heatshields, fuel tank, all hoses new, new clips at the front w/seal and the at the sound deadener. Diesel vacuum tank cleaned painted and pipes installed.
P/s reservoir cleaned inside out, and installed. Wiper hoses cleaned inside out and installed. The good thing abot the 60’ is these parts not need to be replaced like at the 40’s. 30years seems like they are in perfect condition. Just a thorough clean and almost everything is good to go back. Same anout the washer and coolant bottles.
