When I was taking my doors apart to paint them I assumed I had ordered the parts to rebuild them, but I am missing some small pieces. Does anyone have the felt wipers that snap into the inside and outside of the door? I will buy them if you are willing to sell.

Please let me know.
Ryan.

Thanks,

I will look at this as a last resort. I don't like how you have to buy felt from JCwhitney, and then cut it to size. Then buy the spring loaded keepers from restoration specialties and then try to make it work... Maybe I am lazy. I was just hoping that I could find one that worked with out all the work ;-)

Thank you for the quick reply,
Ryan.

The JC whitney window felts are nice. Basically, you take a pair of snips and cut it. Large scissors might even work. However, good luck using those spring clips, you'll need to punch holes in the rubber. I just cleaned the surface and used that 3M black weatherstrip adhesive as opposed to using the original clips. On the 3 doors that I installed it correctly it has held up perfect, on the other one, didn't clean the surface so well and off they went.

Finding good felt on a +25 year old rig ain't gonna' happen. Spend your $14 at JC whitney.
