Yes, I already have the version that fits the factory grille. I made sure that was the first option. This is the second option and I made it because it looks much better without the headlight wrap around area.

How much and ETA?

Please try to find an 80 with arb bumper! Like to see if it blocks the light or not

I have an 80 with an ARB bumper. How can I help?

I don’t know why the bumper would block the light, as the headlight is located in the same place as the factory headlight. If it does though no worries, just bust out the Sawzall.

Oh man I'm excited! Gives it a vintage look

Actually after looking at it more it should fit with no issues, my concern is the bull bar blocking the light but I think it should not be an issue.
When I get the next version done and properly fitted, then we can install one on your LC to see how how it looks. I am in Southern CA too temporarily so we could meet if you want. Where are you located? That is, unless these things totally suck.:flush:

Doh!

I’m in NorCal now and days. Wish I can try them out.

These look awesome! Can't wait to see the whole grill and light combo on a truck.

One tiny idea - feel free to shoot it down with vigor - but why not the same hexagon pattern in the rock guards to match the grill openings?

I have the hex to match the grille, just as you mentioned. The problem is light interruption, so I want the metal as thin as possible. On the grille it’s about 1/8” thick and that blocks too much light. I still want the lights to be useful. However it would look sweet matching. Thanks!

This is very interesting, if you have ever had to buy a replacement headlight you’ll know they are getting tougher and tougher to find especially the LX headlights. I love that the OEM are glass and not lexan/poly carb so they don’t haze but I have all 4 of mine wrapped up with protective film since the last big rock thrown up cost me close to $700 for a new OEM housing. For much less than OEM replacement you could have a badass new look, get some top end LED lights and have a virtually indestructible setup with big output. Nice work Kelly Saad.

Thanks! Maybe these things will actually be cool. We shall find out in the month of March.

Some of us are banking on it! Not to mention the stock LX grill isn't my favorite and I want more light options without necessarily adding more lights to make up for the stock ones.

I know everyone is different but for me less is more. Having a better performing headlight option (s) that will now be simple and cost effective for the future is more.

in short keep it up... no pressure.

Excited about this...

This thread wont die. So, here's some options I was throwing together with the removable rock chip guards. I like to top one with round holes and no emblem. Looks like a crazy old tractor.

I think my preference would be no guard but it I had to pick a setup I like the best it would be the TRD grill combo or no emblem

Toyota, hex on grill and lights, raw steel

I just want the headlight housings. Don't want a grille.
