Not trying to push my grilles on anyone. Just having fun with designs and options, I thought these looked cool and wanted to share.

I have the headlights that fit the factory grille too, without my grille, that was the first thing I made.

The rock guards are held on with screws, they are removable and can be taken off in less than a minute They will look MUCH better when they are powdercoated and the real thing is on the car.

I have a sombrero footprint that will fit the TEQ emblem too.

I like the top option the most for my LX. Do you plan on having a grill that has light pods as well? It looks like you have that as an option for the 100 series, but I didn't see it on any 80 series.

Yes, I can make any light openings on any grille. Light bar or round or square. Example below, but I worry that it might restrict too much air flow on the 80 series. Also, it wont fit these 6" lights with the big TOYOTA emblem, it will but its too close. I could do smaller lights too.

Airflow would be an issue with the big lights but I think smaller lights with your round light headlight option will give the truck a very clean/classic look. For me when you have finalized your headlight conversion options, I think I am either going to go no logo or get one that has "Lexus" spelled out like some of the examples you've created. I think that will wake up the front end of my rig.

i agree on the airflow, the 80 grille is pretty small to begin with. It might be fine, but trial and error is not worth it. That’s why I didn’t really have any out there. Also, I agree with the 4 round lights in the front, I think it will look great. I’m building that setup for my 100 with the 6” lights and the new 7” light conversion. My airflow should be fine though on the 100.

I need to get some real pics on here and stop posting these stupid renderings.

yea I dont care what one I just want one! but unfortunately I spent too much money on RTT right now so I am just a tire kicker! But they are rad and I have been thinking of getting different headlights lately my cheap ebay projectors are not impressing me. so someday when you get finished product out there I will try them out. I would even settle for prototypes or scratch and dents.

Keep Up the Good Work!

Parts are all cut and ready. I will be back in town next week and will build them first thing. We should be good-to-go after that.

Bad ass work sir! Nothing to contribute besides some positivity

Thanks! We will soon see how a pair of these look mounted on the 80.

Building them today, so far so good. Looks like they are assembling well. Should have a pair ready today, then get over to the 80 test fit rig.

Just cancelled my order, so that I can pick up a set of these and throw an nice projector in them
I am curious to see how it would look with the chrome trim on my grill and headlights.
I suppose I could just delete the chrome. I just really like the look of my 94 grille :D

Light test was a success. Needs a slight adjustment in the CAD file but I already did it. My latest design has a trim ring that bolts on the front, held off by spacers. This covers the headlight adjustment slots and gives the assembly a “trimmed out” look. I may also make the trim that ties into the turn signal and the grille. The trim ring can also be the rock chip guard, as seen in this rendering. I’m sure some of you don’t want these things, and that’s fine but the option is there. Sorry, also this is on a Lexus, so I couldn’t install the grill for the pics. I can safely say these are pretty much good to go now.

What fills the gap between the light and the metal on the inner side?
Not done yet, prototype. I have the part for that, just a rolled piece that blocks off that space.
