Nope. Only a short part of the trip was on the 5. That was dinner, and will be lunch.Cool, is that on the grapevine? What happened to the roof top on that 60? Where can I get a breakfast like that?

Dune Beige 416. No decals on the body, but I might incorporate the blue stripes and lettering motif on the sides of the rooftop tent frame.

It's coming along! And much quicker than anticipated...
...which means I need to get on welding up the roof structure pieces...
The last time I had a car painted I had to constantly hunt that guy down for progress updates.
Not this time with this guy!
Stitched up the cross beams:
I ended up notching the upper portion of the extrusion mounting surfaces. I realized I need the upper slot for mounting the tent fabric (thankfully before I had these powdercoated)! I never actually used the upper holes and it was plenty strong without them.

Got the pieces back from the powdercoater a few weeks ago.
Yesterday and today I worked on the remaining roof bits, welding, grinding and nutting.
Meanwhile, in distant lands, the painter is finishing up body work details. Hopefully it will be primer soon!
