Wow I thought all hope of finding this thread was lost, but after a bunch of different google searches I found it! I have the actual file on a hard drive so my plan B was to send you the actual file. But here is the thread!!

Do you think you could PM and email me a copy of the CAD files? Are they DXF/DWG?
I have my own (purchased) license of SoildWorks, so even it's in a 2D format I can extrude it to what ever Z axis I want
I'll even trade you my Gamiviti rack fairing CAD and PDF files for your third row delete cad files! Even if you have a different brand of roof rack, my CAD file has the curvature needed for the angle. Just let me know what format/extension for the CAD file. SolidWorks can export to almost anything. Need to credit Tim at Gamiviti for the original file which I modified to be wee bit taller. I would have ordered the fairing from him for my rack but he only had black and I added the LED light bar and needed a clear fairing, so he sent me the file and I fab'ed my own.

Sorry for the confusion, yes DX/DWG files work great, either in 2D or 3D format so long as the design is something that's flat.
Not sure how a 3 dimensional object like a bottle or something like that would come over as a DXF/DWG into SolidWorks, but not worried about that with your files.
BTW what CAD software do you use?
I'll pm you the fairing.
