Anyone have the part number (and source) for the FJ40 grille badge "Toyota" emblem? It's not on the EPC, nor is it listed on the 1983 fiche I have. The expanded metal should be 53011-90301, but it doesn't show the Toyota badge on it.

This was listed at 69-80, but not sure if anything changed for '83.

EDIT: looks like 75321-90301 for 79-84, not sure on the particular difference for the square-bezels:

I may have to start sand casting...

Well, after all , it IS made out of genuine plastic !
Actually, it's die cast aluminum. At least the one on my '77 40 is.

If that's the case, then you should restore the 1 you have. All the ones I've run across are plastic. The part #'s application is 73-79

Maybe be the 79 to 84 # 75321-90301 is metal. Idk. I prefer the 72 and earlier ones, they're metal and chrome.

Culver City Toyota has discounted parts. Here is the part number and cost:

PLATE, RADIATOR GRILLE NAME
Part Number: 75321-60010
1$33.26

Prior to 1974, they were a metal badge.

1974 and on are plastic, 79-84 are plastic and different from the earlier ones in how they attach to the grill, and the shape/size of the letters, IIRC.

The 1977 above with the metal badge: It is not uncommon for folks to have changed a bib assembly and grill due to corrosion issues, or because they built a truck from many trucks...AKA the Lego trucks.
