Got my ARB- Looking for mod ideas

Looks the same as my bumper, at least from the back. The lip I was referring to is the part that would be ~parallel to the ground when the bumper is installed, a little half inch wide piece at the very bottom. It is in the plane of view coming out of your photo, I tried to circle it.

Some others cut that and the next fold up off for a more rock crawler bumper look on the side wings.

If you don't relocate your AC drier like a previous post mentioned, you could consider adding in the "skid plate", either weld on or drill some holes to mount up the slee one before powder coating??

Slee ac plate is nice

a long time ago someone was selling lasercut reinforcing tabs for the front hooks. They are a good idea as the metal is very thin there.

I read about it on another thread but couldn't find them. I'm ok with this solution or cutting them off and adding new beefy tabs like JITS suggested.

Dave, good idea on the hi-lift points!

They are just a "T" shaped cutout... Maybe a little reinforcement on thhe back too.

few chain links and a couple bolts would be easier than cutting holes in the bumper

I bought the two recovery loops from Expedition Exchange as well. A worth while mod IMHO but be sure to have decent thickness backing plates.

You *could* install an air tank in the bumper too! :D You can't ever have enough air reservoirs!

Total hack job :flipoff2:

But I may be stealing it

Ummm, if you're not rockcrawling it, the question would be "why"? :flipoff2: Poser status?

Oh dude! I didn't even think of using that space for a tank. And I have one exactly that size!
