Someone on this forum turned me onto http://mandrel-bends.com, I think his username was King something or other. I'm very happy with the exhaust on my rig now :D
 
I went ridiculous and have 4" right after my downpipe out to the back (downpipe its 3"). I got the tubing for free so I figured why not. I'm using a diesel MBRP 4" straight through muffler in about the factory FJ60 position. I think it's 30" overall, I'd have to look back through my thread to find the real numbers. I also used v-bands to ease installation.

I did run a spiral baffle set up for awhile and for me concluded that it was restrictive and caused slightly higher EGT's. I eventually took it out and just went straight piped. I like the performance of the straight pipe but not the sound so this was my compromise to keep it free flowing but somewhat muffled.

I just pulled the trigger on the 3" I/O AeroTurbine AT3030XL. It has the build in resonator, 26" OA length. Should make everything super quiet. The resonator is removeable. So, for the same price as the shortie, I decided to give it a whirl.

My wife called and my metal order was just delivered. My suppliers delivery guy is awesome. Put all the metal in the shop for us, since I'm at work, gaulked at Goss for a few and left. Been the "in-town" delivery guy for years here. (He gets a Christmas present from us every year)

Sure is nice to still have a quality service provider. These are becoming fewer and further between.

Thanks Darrell, but I doubt I'll make it out this time. Need to start getting my butt in gear on building bumpers and whatnot. Maybe in late Sept/early Oct when I come through. Need to catch up with several people on my way back from OR.
