I miss those trails, most of all how you can run one pretty much to the next, to the next, to the next... Linking them in different ways is fun, and can fill up a day quickly in the trails and not on the pavement getting from one to the next.

Awesome pics man!

Yup! Love it up there. We camped over at Horse springs on the Lucerne side Saturday night after the crew worked on 2n06x. We cruised down 4n16 to 3n14 to 3n16 all the way to Little Bull. Plan was to link 'em up and do Little bull, John Bull then Holcomb Creek but too many rigs getting stuck kept us WAY too long on JB.

My personal favorite is to run from Gold Mountain all the way through JB to Holcomb, then cruise down to Rattle Snake Canyon and run Mottino Wash to the 247. Whole day never covering the same ground twice. If you come south again, hit me up!

Looks awesome @bobbynelson0730. Those pics sure do make me miss living in san diego. The wheeling here in texas is much different. It's still fun to get out, but is is nothing like the variety that was available down there. Here is a pic from this past weekend, we were probably on the trails at the same time. Got my BIOR bumper put on and I am LOVING the way it changed the look of the vehicle.

Bumper looks great man! One of my favorites. Gotta love the #trailwink too hahaha

Welcome to Mud buddy, time for you to switch now too...I saw the mustang all cleaned up and ready to ship!

So took the rig up to Bear again for the BBQ, nothing big just small trails for a newbie we had with. Spent Sunday working on the rig, installed the rear upper links finally and swapped the diff fluid out. I have the uppers adjusted all the way down to the shortest length possible; from memory center to center was 15-3/8". Still making noise. Need to pull the shafts out and check all the u joints, may be my problem not the pinion angle now.
Getting ready to drop it off at my buddy's body shop to do some repairs and open the rear up. Getting there...

The start of some new changes.

More progress today from the guys at Euro Pacific. My good buddy runs the place, he's a fellow toyota off-roader and CCOR member. Guys do great work, recommend them to anyone in the SD area.

Thanks guys. It really needed to be done. Been spending a good amount of time out on the trails, and the front end works so awesome....the rear made me hate this rig. It's a splendid feeling hitting the bumps on pebbles lol so away it goes, hoping to gain some good up travel back and eventually slap some matching 2.5" Radflos and air bumps.

Man the front 4WU works nice :) John Bull & Holcomb Creek in Big Bear

Stopped in on my way home from another week's worth of work to check out the progress. Got to say, these guys are kickin butt.
Holes sealed up, the bigger dents all pulled out.

Really happy how much more level the wheel wells look with the chop front and rear. Front fender isn't fully aligned yet

View from inside. If we would have pizza cut, maybe another 1/2" of clearance and the overall arch wouldn't have matched the door line. Rather keep the metal intact and sealed.

I'll chop the slider myself if it hits the tire when I get to cycle the rear. The cut matches the 4XLabs really well in the rear.

Next is new paint and rhino lining down the sides. Should be done next week.

So more progress pics from Andy over at Euro Pacific in Vista, looks friggin awesome. Really happy with how the new look is coming along.
It's Raptor liner, professionally sprayed on since I've done the DIY on other projects and decided to let the pros do it right with this much square footage. Took almost 4 kits. The rest of the body is getting fresh factory paint, the a pillar is fixed and primed and ready to go. Only hiccup is the roof rack. Mr @Delancy for told the cancer, and while pulling it off...low and behold it's there. Guess 20yrs after the first moisture at port made it's mark. Good enough amount that it's going to take a bit to fix...more than I'm going to go for now. So new game plan is to basically leave that section of roof untouched and paint the rest. When the day comes that water makes it's way to the headliner, we'll either fix it or chop it all off.
Till then, I'll live with it.
Should be back on the trails this weekend.

That thing came out sweet!

Looks awesome man. I think that this is the best line to take for lining an 80. I really want to do mine this spring. I am going to see how much linex wants for the job.

Man that truck is sweet!! I wanna Line X mine so badly... gonna de-flare it too the more I see without em the more I wanna do it.

It's either de flare on your own terms or wait for Mother Nature to do it on hers. Bobby was actually there the day I lost my first flare(s), so we are bonded together for life.
