Thanks for the feedback, guys. Tor, at Torfab, was the one that mentioned waste gate springs being 14psi vs 18psi. (mistake in my last post) He just have been mistaken. On gas cars, I'm used to an adjustable boost controller being paired with computerized fuel control. I've been reading that there is a mechanical fuel control on the 1HD-T (similar to a cummins "power knob"). Is that typically how you set your air/fuel mixture? The truck still needs to be shipped to me, out here in New Hampshire, so I don't know if the injection pump has a boost compensator on it.
