i just filled up my gas tank for the first time since i got my cruiser,it nearly took 20 gals.of fuel.the gauge was showing close to empty before i filled up.i was wondering what is the exact amount this tank holds.thanks again ppl. john:)

i think i put 22.5is gallons in my 60 before and in marks 62 it took 22.45ish gallons when i filled up for the drive south to deliver it to him (it was on fumes as was mine) so i would say they are 23 gallon tanks... (someone correct me if i am wrong) on a regular basis my truck takes around 18-19 gallons when i fill up.

IIRC its 23.8 gallons. You do need to get used to how your fuel guage reads. I would always fill mine up at around the empty line and it would take 17 to 18 gallons. I once ran it about an 1/8 below the empty mark and only put in 21 gallons. One day I am going to fill up a jerry can and run it empty to see how low it will go on the guage. Moral of the story is you can go way past empty on most of these trucks.

~23gallon / 90L

look in your land cruiser handbook in the glove box, the specs are in there

He was asking for specs not how much you put in when its on empty

ok:)

First time I read that I thought it was wrong because mine would be on empty and I could only get in about 18 gallons. Finally realised it was the guage. I can and have gone way past empty( lots of space between the needle and the e mark) and only put in 22 gallons.
