Wanted: A roll bar for a 40 series.

Wanted: A roll bar for a 40 series.

We might be willing to part with the factory roll bar from the '79, but probably with the seat belt brackets removed.

I'll check with Dad and stuff. Did these change over the years? Would a bar from a '79 fit earlier trucks?

Dan

1969 did not come with a roll bar. They can be adapted with a drill.

The seat belt brackets are no big deal, as the 69' came with lap belts only. I have built a frame for buckets, and plan on mounting either 3 or 4 point harnesses.

Let me know if you can part with it and how much.

Classic Cruisers for sale

Just saw this ad. Maybe it's old news but it's new to me. These guys really helped me out when I needed a new PS pump and air pump for my 60 when we were on the Colorado trip a couple years ago.

Classis Cruisers for sale

I wonder what the $275K includes? Property, inventory....?

Too bad I'm too young to have amassed enough money to buy this business. This would be awesome.

That's about a third of what Merl was asking about a year and a half ago. But I think more land an a house was part of the deal at that time IIRC.

If we had a Denver base, I'd seriously consider looking into this.

If Danise was willing to go to work, I'd be all over it.

Like either of you can finish a project on time and under budget to be able to run this business :flipoff2:

I'm great with the budget part. The time part? Not so much. At one point I seriously thought I could do the diesel conversion of the faux-lux in a week. A year later....

I just saw this on Ebay; it is in Rio Rancho. I was surprised to see a FJ25 for sale.

Toyota : Land Cruiser:eBay Motors (item 220436916063 end time Jun-24-09 12:55:13 PDT)

interesting. I don't think it's all FJ25. the hood and fender aprons look like FJ40. didn't the 25 have horozontal bars across the grill? not sure about the first years. i know 1960 did. there's no pics of the door opeings which should be rounded instead of squared off like the 40. the chevy engine reduces the value a little. wonder what tranny and tcase it has. should be a 4 speed on floor tranny. anyone know anything more about 25's? i bet it's in the FJ25 section here on mud.
