1970 Super Clean FJ40 Must Sell $2500obo
1970 stock cruiser with a near perfect body and frame. This thing hasn't seen any hard off roading what-so-ever and it shows. Body has one or two tiny dents and a few areas of very surface rust (I've scrubbed it off with an sos pad, so it's barely even rust, just the rust coloring basically). The only actual rust this cruiser has is a spot about the size of a dime in the tool box under the drivers seat....that's it.
Already has the 283 Chevy V8 engine conversion, and I've replaced/redone nearly everything around the engine block (new water pump, new radiator, new starter, new alternator, new fan, new edelbrock 4 barrel carb, new air filter, new hoses and wiring, etc...). I've also replaced all heater hoses inside the cruiser, and both front and rear heaters work really well. I have replaced the drivers side seat, and have a replacement for the passengers side too, but have all original seats as well (including jump seats in the rear). I have put in a few new gauges as well (water temp, oil temp, volts), and am working on the wiring in the rest of the dash. I also have a soft top and soft half doors (the soft top isn't made specifically for the cruiser, but I've made it work) that are included. This cruiser also has a PTO driven Ramsey winch that works perfectly (you could pull this cruiser up a tree with this winch). Nearly new tires as well (less than 300 miles on them), although no spare (but have the spare mount on the rear of the cruiser).
While the paint on this cruiser is ugly (it's the original paint they put on it back in 1970), at this price, send it out to get sanded and painted (no body work needed) and it'll look new.
I need this thing gone now, so make me an offer I can't refuse today.
I use this as my daily driver, and it starts up perfectly every time and the engine runs strong and powerful.
Asking $2500, but open to offers if you take it home this weekend.
