It does NOT have factory front/rear locking differentials, it has the standard center diff lock switch (91-91), all 80's have the center diff lock, just automatic in the 93+, no switch.
I would bet the "diff locks" are just the standard center diff...Biff said:

Agreed, it's totally stock looking and LaMorinda/St Marys area is extremely unlikely to have someone that would put lockers into a stock '91 80. It's a very very wealthy (and pretentious)suburb of SF.

I'm looking at a 1994 80 series in Ok condition with 170k miles, cloth interior, tow package, no lockers. Rig is located in Marin/Bay area. Original owner, has had no major engine work done.

If it is in good nmechanical shape, it sounds like a pretty good deal, I have decided I will probably wait to find one with lockers, when I get my next 80, but that depends on what is important to you.
First off you should concentrate on maintenance items before even starting any mods. After you've done the typical things like-birf job, phh, rear axle service, change all fluids you should expect it to last a little while.

If you can change fluids, and you are willing, you can do those other jobs too, if you have the FSM (factory service manual), some tools (just a few specialized tools), and the time. If you have a dealer do the birf job I would guess it would be around $1000-$1200, I wouldn't even want to think what they would charge for the PHH, as it is only about $20 in parts but a PITA to get to.
Again if you are game, tackle these jobs yourself, with the help of the manual and all the writeups in the 80 section I was able to do the birf job, never having worked on an axle before. You learn alot about your vehicle this way too.
