Hi guys,
Just got my shipment of POR15 from the UK and want to continue chipping away that awful tar-like material on the floorpan, firewall and under the seats. After 1 day with a paint scrapper, wire brush and vacuum cleaner (only about 25% done), just wondering if there is a better way to do this tedious process. I have a heat gun, but I fear that would just turn it into 'soup'. Since it is warm and summer in Switz. would putting ice on the stuff make it more brittle to 'pop off' in pieces. I want to remove it to metal and prep with the various POR 15 products I have to get this done right once and for all and chuck the mats for good. Open to any better ways to chip off this old (1980 OEM) floor protection. thanks, Ed
